Classrooms in the digital age are connecting to students in new and more effective ways and the Hovercam Pilot digital podium is no exception. Not your standard podium, the Pilot features a 21-inch multi-touch screen, a 4K, 13-megapixel document camera, an i5 PC with Windows 10 operating system and a microphone.
The Pilot can wirelessly connect to any Interactive Flat panel display or whiteboard and instructors can easily connect their PC, Mac, iPad, tablet, mobile device or external drive and then annotate, record or take snapshots from the podium. Materials can be sent via e-mail, Dropbox or Google Drive so that students can access them later.
The Pilot also features a built-in keyboard and track pad, built-in iPad dock with lightning port, hardwired inputs for HDMI and USB, a side tray for laptop use, a motorized telescopic pedestal to easily raise or lower the podium, and wheels so it can easily move from one location to another.
