ProAV Systems Tops List of Minority-Owned Businesses in Massachusetts

We are very pleased to announce that Pro AV Systems has been recognized as one of the top ten minority-owned businesses in Massachusetts for 2021, according to the Boston Business Journal. The list ranks Massachusetts-based businesses with at least 51-percent minority ownership by revenue and Pro AV was ranked number eight on the list of 71 companies. Its second year as a standalone list, the ranking showcases the diversity of companies owned and operated by minorities in the state.

According to the U.S. Department of Commerce, Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) are fast-growing, innovative, and represented in every industry sector in the United States. Minority-owned firms directly contribute to the U.S. economy and account for the creation of millions of U.S. jobs. Approximately 18.3% of all U.S. businesses were minority owned, as stated by the U.S. Census Bureau’s Annual Business Survey.
