Laser projectors offer a bevy of advantages including brightness, longevity, and nearly maintenance free operation. However, they can also be on the heavy side, as can large venue projectors, and some LCD/LED projectors. To provide better mounting solutions for these heftier projectors, Peerless-AV has just added two new Heavy Duty Universal Projector Mounts to their Universal Projector Mount Line.
The new mounts (PJR125 and PJR125-POR) offer a large mounting pattern and can accommodate projectors weighing up to 125 lbs. Peerless claims that the PJR125-POR model is the only mount on the market that supports portrait-mounted projectors weighing over 75 lbs.
The new mounts offer a low-profile design that includes six adjustable legs that provide additional support for projectors. A universal adaptor plate extends up to a 25.5-inch mounting pattern to accommodate most projector models. The mounts also come with lockable tilt, roll and swivel features to prevent image shifts and cable management to keep cables neat and out of sight.
