Marshall has announced that they’ll be adding new NDI|HX and High Bandwidth NDI camera models later this year. After already introducing two levels of 4K PTZ Cameras with 30x optical zoom and professional grade sensors in the last year, the company has released the New Product Release Schedule for 2021. The schedule includes the CV730-BHN, a higher-end High-Bandwidth NDI, NDI|HX PTZ Camera with up to 4K60 resolution. This is in addition to the lower-end CV620-BI, a20x with optical zoom 3GSDI, HDMI and IP/HEVC/SRT and the CV620-BN with 20x optical zoom 3GSDI, HDMI and NDI|HX. They’ll also be introducing a model with a cost below $800 for the ultra-budget conscious in mid 2021 along with the CV605 PTZ HD Camera model which will include IP, USB-C, HDMI, and 3GSDI.
Marshall has also added additional tools that can be used to support easy setup and operation of the entire PTZ and zoom camera line. The Home Run RS232/RS422 Splitter Box (RS7-HR) splits control of one controller via Cat cable to up to seven (7) cameras while extending usable length of cable runs by two (2x) fold via RS232/RS422. Marshall offers two different PTX controller models—the entry-level VS-PTC-200 and the advanced broadcast-style VSPTC-IP model with individual dial control of exposure, iris, white balance and focus with a zoom rocker seesaw and flexible IP/RS232/RS422 mix-and-match setup on one controller. Finally, IP68 housings for outdoor use are also available with CV-H20-HF for fixed position models, CV6XX-HFH for CV600-series, and CV7XX-HFH for CV700-series. All include heaters and fans for internal environment control.
