Mersive’s Solstice Pod is a software-based collaboration solution for wireless media streaming used in classrooms and meeting spaces. Earlier this year, Mersive announced the latest version of their software, Solstice 3.0 with Multi-Room, which was recently featured at Infocomm 2017. With Multi-Room the new software will now allow users in multiple locations to all connect, share and control content collaboratively across their entire network and on multiple devices.
This latest release allows users can connect to a meeting room display via WiFi/Ethernet networks using their laptop, tablet or smartphones to share and control content. Users can mirror their device screens, stream individual application windows and share videos. Two or more Solstice Pods can be synced, which allows shared content to appear on all meeting room displays regardless of where it is shared from. Participants can be invited or request to join all through an easy to use interface.
The Solstice Pod is designed to integrate with existing VTC and voice audio systems with no additional hardware required. It can be easily incorporated into any room due to its small size allowing it to be mounted under tables, behind monitors or in other unobtrusive locations.
