At this year’s Infocomm, Epson announced the newest addition to the Pro L laser projector series, the ProL 1700. Last year they introduced the line with 6,000, 7,000, 8,000 and 12,000-lumen models and the L1700 now rounds out the line with a 15,000-lumen solution. Despite the level of brightness the projector offers, it runs on 120 volts rather than 220, an industry first, providing a significant energy savings as compared to similar projectors of the same brightness. The small form factor chassis offers a solution that can be easily installed in any space.
The Pro-L Series projectors combine a laser light source and Epson’s proprietary 3LCD technology to produce impressive image quality in addition to durability and reliability. The projectors features native WUXGA performance with Epson 4K Enhancement Technology, which shifts each pixel diagonally by 0.5 pixels to double the resolution to 3840 x 2160 and surpass Full HD image quality. The projectors can be fitted with numerous lens options including short throw, middle throw and wide throw.
