At the recent Infocomm 2017, Crestron highlighted updated and new room scheduling products along with changes to the software that will enhance scheduling capabilities for small and large enterprises alike. Crestron’s updated room scheduling firmware now runs on their existing TSW-760 and 1060 touch screens to allow them to be configured as room scheduling panels. They directly connect to Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 and Google Suite without the need for Fusion integration, meaning that additional licenses are no longer required for basic room scheduling. The TSW-X60 Series have a brand new UI that now supports HTML 5 and CSS, allowing for the creation of faster and more powerful interfaces. Background video and custom images are now supported as well. For security, all TSWs now ship with a special mounting latch that makes it easy to lock touch screens in place.
Crestron’s new SSW Room Availability Hallway signs mount on the ceiling or walls outside meeting rooms alerting users with an indicator light that displays as green for available and red for in use. It can also be wired into Cresnet, Crestron’s bus that is the communications backbone for many Crestron devices, to provide full control as well as other indicator color options. The signs can be custom engraved using Crestron Engraver. The TSW’s include a USB port allowing them to connect directly to TSW touch screens or another control system.
