Showcased at this year’s Infocomm, Epson announced the introduction of two new projectors to their Pro L-Series lineup earlier this year. Epson hails the ProL12000Q as the first 12,000 lumen native 4K 3LCD laser projector and additionally added the compact Pro L20000U to its large projector line that delivers up to 20,000 lumens of color and white brightness.
Both projectors share the same compact and lightweight chassis and feature support for HDR, 360-degree installation flexibility, and a sealed light source and optical engine to protect from dust and smoke. The laser technology provides superior color accuracy and up to 20,000 hours of laser light source with no need to change bulbs, allowing for nearly maintenance-free operation. Both also feature backward lens compatibility, swappable interface boards, geometry correction assist, and edge-blending assist.
The ProL12000Q and L20000U will be available Fall 2018, with pricing announced prior to launch.
