As more and more businesses and public venues begin to open, Crestron has announced a new line of on-wall and tabletop cloud-connected touch screens to deliver automation combined with mobile device integration. This new series offers companies technology to allow them to transform spaces for both the short and long term, as conditions warrant. The ability to control a variety of building systems, including AV, unified communications, lighting and building automation, from one single point, provides flexibility in a time when companies need it most.
Ideal for locations including sports stadiums, command centers, classrooms, boardrooms, and training rooms, the 70 series on-wall and tabletop Touch Screens feature a sleek, industrial design with a thin bezel. Available in both black and white finishes, all models offer high resolution displays with a proximity sensor that detects motion to wake up the screen upon approach. Customization based on feedback from the sensor is also available. Native support for H.265, H. 263, and MJPEG formats allows the 70 Series to display live streaming video from an IP camera, a streaming encoder, or a DigitalMedia switcher.
The wall-mount version is available in 5-,7-, and 10-inch sizes and supports both mullion and glass-mount methods. The tabletop version is available in both a 7- and 10-inch size and features a modern cast aluminum enclosure. Wi-Fi support is offered in all 7- and 10-inch models. Improved light sensors and algorithms auto adjust the screen brightness, to optimize the user interface, whether in dark, dim or brightly lit rooms. The units also feature a customizable screen saver allowing for corporate branding.
The 70 Series offers touchless control utilizing a built-in Bluetooth beacon and the new Crestron ONE mobile app. Users can download the app to their personal devices and control room technology safely and securely. Through XiO Cloud, a Crestron service that provides building and space intelligence while enabling remote operations, the 70 Series Touch Screens can be remotely configured, deployed and managed at scale.
