It’s been a busy 1st half of the year for us at Pro AV Systems – but this summer we’re pushing the envelope even further. We’re partnering with 1105 Media at Campus Technologies, a national tradeshow for educational technology and leaders that are interested in transforming higher ed spaces. Luckily Pro AV is also interested in innovating and transforming those spaces, and will be bringing together tons of manufacturers for this event. We’ll have a 20×30 exhibit space on the floor, full of technology and cool things to see – from huge interactive touch panels to the latest in audio enhancement, and all sorts of stuff in between. The best part? None of it will be “for the show” – it will be a completely functioning space, and there will be presenters and sessions within the space. That means Pro AV will be serving up a rock solid solution, with all the bells and whistles to really make things shine.
We’ll have furniture from KI, projectors from Epson, flat panels from Qomo, cameras from Lumens and control from Crestron. The event is 2 days at the end of July – 28th & 29th – and will be jam packed with technology, industry professionals and lots of workshops focused on the issues that all institutions face. We’ll have our own Pro AV staff there to answer any questions you may have, as well as manufacturer support for the tougher questions.
We’ve done a splash similar at CEFPI in San Antonio in 2012, but this is the first time we’re trying it in our neck of the woods. We owe a huge thank you to all of our manufacturers who signed on to help us pull this off, our engineers for coming up with a great design and our installers – because it’s going to be a lot of work on what will likely be a really hot day, to get it all done in time for show time.
