ClearOne, a company that designs, develops and sells conferencing, collaboration, streaming and digital signage solutions, was awarded a patent in December for its spatial audio rendering technology for conferencing. According to the company’s press release, U.S. Patent number 9,843,455 relates to conferencing systems that help boost intelligibility and reduce listener fatigue in a conference.
This new patent, the company’s second in three months, is part of ClearOne’s growing patent portfolio that currently includes over 100 patents and pending patent applications covering multiple new technologies in the fields of audio and video processing, audio and video streaming, and innovative communication technologies.
