Our Client
The school district in Middleborough, MA, dedicated $100 million to rebuild its high school with the noble purpose of engaging each student with an innovative, 21st-century learning experience. As part of its 165,000 square foot transformation, Middleborough High School wanted to update its auditorium to help fulfill that purpose.
Project Overview
Auditoriums are where the community can come together for shared activities. The school envisioned a space that would fulfill that purpose and truly embody its culture. To exceed these goals, the school needed to provide a sound system that could keep up with the diverse activities planned for this space.
Middleborough High School’s Coordinator of District Technology, Sean Siciliano, wanted their auditorium to be functional for not only students and teachers, but also community members. It would be a flexible venue designed for plays, concerts, assemblies, town hall meetings, and student-supported AV activities alike.
“We wanted to make this a spot where kids could go to get the best equipment, be in a real-life training situation where if they left this high school or go out in the field, this is real-life skills and real things they will see when they get out in the world,” Siciliano explained.
