Colby College, a private college in Waterville, ME, was looking to develop a new athletic facility to provide all students with the opportunity to lead healthy, active lifestyles. Pro AV Systems won this project as a bid through Consigli Construction, one of the largest employee-owned construction managers in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
This AV contract was the largest ever awarded in Maine at the time. Due to the sheer size of the audio visual design and venues being supported, coordination with the architectural and construction teams was both crucial and challenging.
OUR SOLUTION
Pro AV Systems coordinated with Consigli Construction, ARUP, and Sasaki to design, develop, and implement a state-of-the-art audio visual experience that could be utilized and enjoyed by staff and students for many years to come. The new 350,000 square foot building is the most advanced and comprehensive NCAA D-III facility in the country.
