AJA’s new stand-alone professional streaming and recording appliance, HELO, provides a cost effective and flexible answer for a variety of applications from houses of worship to live events to corporate communications and more. With 1080p 60 capability, HELO combines both SDI and HDMI I/O into a single appliance with the ability to simultaneously stream out to your Content Delivery Network (CDN) as well as encode and record H.264 files to either SD, SDHC or SDXC cards, USB drives or NFS or CIFS mounted network shares. Front panel buttons for recording and streaming allow for efficient on-site workflows. Its compact, portable size and durable aluminum case allows the flexibility for it to be used anywhere and it’s compatible with popular CDN’s such as Wowza®, YouTube™ and Facebook® Live.
Simple to configure and control from a web browser interface or by connecting directly to a USB port, HELO connects to any video device via 3G-SDI or HDMI and records H.264 files, streaming as needed. Embedded in the SDI or HDMI signal, 24-bit audio and 48 kHz prevents content from losing sync and additionally includes Line Level, Unbalanced stereo 3.5 mm TRS connectors.
