About Mark

Almost 9 years ago, the Bishop family approached Mark with an opportunity to help start Pro AV Systems, and Mark has evolved into one of the core leaders in our company. On a day-to-day basis, Mark runs the engineering team, designing systems for customers, and programming control systems, while constantly striving to push the envelope and think outside the box for customers. Mark has a knack for technology, and each day he seeks to provide customers with unique solutions that offer even better functionality – and that leads to some of the best value engineering in the industry. Mark works with all customers, across all markets and locations, providing them with better systems and values than they could get elsewhere.

A graphic designer originally, Mark has a very visual way of interpreting AV design and programming – and aside from functionality, aesthetics is of utmost importance. To Mark, providing customers with the latest technologies and best possible solution is one of his greatest daily achievements. Mark is CTS certified, and fluent in Extron and Crestron programming, audio DSP systems, and Polycom Video Conferencing. He has Biamp, SymNet, and other industry certifications, and is always looking to improve his knowledge and his ability to pass that along to clients.

When he’s not at work, Mark loves the outdoors. Whether he’s on the slopes in the winter, or by the pool or the golf course in the summer, Mark and his family love being outside. Mark is also an integral part of the New England Parkinson’s Ride, one of the largest Michael J. Fox fundraisers in the country, and each year bikes 50+ miles for his Uncle. Mark loves golfing, a good glass of whiskey, and playing in a men’s baseball league as the star shortstop (Go Orioles!). Mark lives in Merrimack, NH, with his wife, Erin, and children, Jack and Ava.

I like to use our technology solutions as means of problem solving. I love it when a customer has an issue that they are trying to overcome and looks to me for the right solution. There’s no better feeling than when a customer is absolutely thrilled about what we have provided them for a solution.
