Lead Technician, MA

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for installing and testing systems consisting of projectors, flat panels, screens, Interactive Whiteboards, sound systems, DSPs and control systems in commercial and education facilities. Work as an installation and service technician.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Installing and/or repairing projector and sound systems inside of commercial offices and classrooms.
Moderate skills with construction hand tools and fasteners.
Experience with Extron and Crestron control systems as well as familiarity with standard test equipment (video and audio) is a plus.
Preparing regular, accurate job reports and interacting with customers.

ABILITIES, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Ability to carry, climb and work on ladders and lifts.
Work with hand and power tools, run wiring and perform wire terminations.
Ability to follow directions and work with an installation team.
Complete a quality installation every time.
Present a positive, professional, and courteous image to our customers.
Accurately complete essential paperwork.
Have a strong work ethic relating to quality.
Must be reliable and on-time.

EDUCATION:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Post HS technical education is a plus.

EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND:
Must be familiar with computers and basic networks.
Good driving record.
Clean criminal background (must be able to pass CORI background check).

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to communicate verbally in the English language.
Must have transportation to job site.
Excellent customer relation skills.
