Key Digital Introduces Affordable Distribution Amplifiers

Key Digital recently introduced new 2-channel, 4-channel and 8-channel HDMI digital video distribution amplifiers. The KD-DA1x2, KD-DA1x4 and KD-DA1x8 are ideal for digital signage applications and according to Key Digital, are an affordable solution designed for a superior distribution system without signal degradation, providing superior quality, performance and reliability.


Supporting SD, HD, VESA and Ultra HD/4K video standards including UHD/4K, 1080p/60, 1920×1200, 3D and support of HDCP 2.2 and HDR, all three amplifiers also provide deep color support up to UHD/4K 30Hz 4:4:4/12 bits or 60Hz 4:4:4/8 bit.


The EDID control offers an internal library of 15 handshakes in addition to native EDID data of output/display 1. The Full Buffer System manages TMDS re-clocking/ signal re-generation, HDCP source & display authentication, Hot Plug Management and EDID Control handshake. Lossless Compressed Digital Audio is supported, including Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby Atmos.
